our school
The goal of our school is to show our students how to be more self-reliant. Just a couple of generations ago a family completed their own household repairs instead of incurring a large service call. They knew how to make basic furniture for their homes and how to cook from scratch. The children were taught in school how to use basic tools and the living skills that promoted self-reliant living. And, because there were no Walmart stores or video games available, the children learned to be resourceful more creative, and more active.
Our resident teaching staff brings a hands on learning experience to our students. Some of our classes are taught by guest instructors that are expert in their skill. Our classes are small and we work at the pace the students feel comfortable. With many of our classes the student leaves the school with the project that they made or worked on.
